Hercules Constellation

10.00 pm east sky few days back…i have no clue how it even got captured amidst these clouds you can see.

Hercules Constellation:

Hercules belongs to the Hercules family of constellations, along with Aquila, Ara, Centaurus, Corona Australis, Corvus, Crater, Crux, Cygnus, Hydra, Lupus, Lyra, Ophiuchus, Sagitta, Scutum, Sextans, Serpens, Triangulum Australe and Vulpecula.

The constellation Hercules, The Kneeling Giant, can be seen ascending in the east-northeast on these Northern Hemisphere summer evenings. You can find Hercules between two brilliant stars: Arcturus and Vega. Arcturus/ Swathi being in Bootes constellation, Vega is located in the Lyra constellation.

A line between Arcturus and Vega passes through what is known as the Keystone – an asterism, or noticeable pattern – in Hercules. The Keystone is a quadrilateral figure in the center of Hercules.
